    This office knows how to take care of you. The folks at Ascent Audiology in Leesburg really understand the importance of taking care of your hearing. They explained everything to me and they really weren't trying to push anything. They recommended and let me decide. If you have a hearing issue, I would definitely check them out.

    I wore hearing aids for about ten years for business purposes. As soon as I retired in 2002, I quit wearing them except for occasional use as they felt cumbersome and uncomfortable. I finally gave them up entirely as I felt as if my ears were always "plugged." As time passed and my hearing deteriorated further I missed out more and more on what was going on around me. The voices of my grandchildren, music, movies, bird calls, were often intelligible or missing alltogether. Finally, at the urging of my family I reluctantly scheduled an appointment with Dr. Linda Himler. Professional, friendly, sympathetic-come to mind as I recall that first meeting. The results have been amazing. With the help of Dr. Himler, I have returned to the real world. The changes in hearing technology including comfort are truly remarkable but their application is entirely dependent upon the skill and knowledge of the audiologist.

    Linda E. Himler, Au.D. I consulted to evaluate my hearing loss occurring over many years. I had been exposed to a broad range of harmful noises. Having difficulty communicating with my family precipitated my seeking an audiologists opinion on whether or not I was a candidate for hearing aids. I received a thorough evaluation which indicated I had bilateral hearing deficits but in one ear it was consistent with a possible treatable cause and she needed another test to determine this. She referred me to an ENT Specialist who agreed with her finding and performed that test which the Specialist concluded did not show what they believed could be a treatable cause in one ear. This clarification gave Dr. Himler the belief that I could be helped with hearing aids. She discussed the various hearing aids that would best fulfill my needs and I selected the one I felt would do this.

    Now I know to go to a real audiology doctor. My Zounds hearing aid did not seem to be working properly. Found out Zounds is not in business anymore. Dr. Linda put me thru a comprehensive exam. I now have my new hearing aids and I am hearing wonderfully without having to adjust them at all. So thankful I found the right Dr.

    Dr. Himler and her staff have been very accommodating and accessible. I recently lost my hearing aids, and was desperate to get a new set as I rely on them for just about everything. They were able to get me in right away and get my new aids to me in a weeks time. They were wonderful throughout the fitting process as the new aids required a good bit of fine tuning. Dr. Himler was very patient and understanding, taking the time to really understand what I was saying about the aids until we got things right. She's a very caring and thoughtful professional, and I would definitely recommend.

    I obtained my Siemens hearing aids from the VA. The left earpiece never fit properly and always hurt. Over a period of 2 years I tried numerous private hearing aid dealers but failed to get corrective results. I contacted Dr. Linda Himler. She took an impression of of the left ear and sent it to Siemens where the warranty for the hearing aids was still in effect. When the new earpiece arrived, she installed it in my left ear and it fitted perfectly on the first attempt without pain or strain. I am delighted with the results. I have, already, recommended her to others.

I haven't had to wait long for visits, they're generally very accommodating about getting me in, and I haven't had too many visits because everything has been handled professionally.     (5) A very good overall experience.

    I have been well taken care of. I can hear things that I have not been able to hear for a very long time. I play a banjo and can hear the complex harmonics that the strings make when I wear the hearing aids. When I don't wear them the sound is more of a thunk. My family notices that I can hear the TV without driving them out of the room. The real reason I needed them was to be able to hear ladies voices clearly. It is so much nicer when you can hear those sweet nothing's that your wife whispers in your ear. :-)

    It's easy to come in and feel at home. The service is professional, they listen and its easy to talk to them. They take care of all of my needs. I like to the way HEAR!Every visit has been a wonderful experience. When our new addition Cali a Yorkie chewed up one of Nats hearing aids, I called to ask about replacement and it was no problem. We even took Cali to meet Dr. Anzola and her staff. They welcomed Cali with open arms and had a replacement hearing aid for my husband.

    I found information that I needed to improve my hearing and was able to discuss everything related to the problem that I did come for. My family insisted that I get a 2nd opinion.     The addition of Prada to the reception area is a definite plus. Congratulations!Their friendliness and caring manner go a long way in providing the best service possible. As hearing professionals, they are very knowledgeable. At a checkup I asked several questions on how to use, clean and maintain my equipment. Not only did they review all pertinent information with me in the office, the next month I noticed that they had added a new educational video to their online resources that covered the same subject.

    (5) I am very happy to have the hearing aids.

    I feel more comfortable, takes a little longer because of a sinus infection. I really like them. And I would not want to be without them.Even when I'm early they do their best to see me as soon as possible. I am very satisfied with the hearing aid process. It is an adjustment period and although I became frustrated at first Dr. Anzola was very patient with me.

    Always helpful when I needed something. For instance they will teach you right away with anything you need help with especially the wax guards.The doctor is excellent relative to knowledge base and and ability to relate with patients. Very pleasant office with accommodating staff. It was always a pleasant and cheerful experience people were cheerful and it was a place where I could fit in.

    I took my 90 year old mother here for hearing aids (finally)and I can't say enough good about how wonderful everyone treated us! They have the patience of Job, the office is nicely decorated, clean and Prada is adorable! Thank you so much for all your help with Mom. She can hear more than she wants to now. :)

    friendly staff and doctor. Good follow up. I fully recommend the practice All I need to say was mentioned above.I've used Ascent for 2+ years, focused on getting & using Starkey Invisible aids - Yes!! - procured here. Dr. Anzola & staff always manage to work in & resolve any problem (I've had several scale adjustment issues), even at short notice. I'm hard to please but happy enough with service here to take the bus more than a half-hour each way to remain a patient of Ascent! Don't let the good looks & charm fool you; she's superbly competent too!

    (5) Here is a little piece about what I think you your office and service

    I like your office because it is different from the usual small, cluttered room, often freezing. A regular office building with no convenient, free parking and often located in a crowded area. Have always easily found a parking space near your office which is well laid out in regular, good sized rooms with comfortable seats on the first floor. In the front reception area patients can watch TV for the latest news and read magazines from an interesting, fairly recent selection and possibly the Washington Post and some other newspapers. There is no need to sign in on a sheet which requires details of why you are seeking help with ear problems. In short, it has one of the most welcoming arrangements taht I know for a doctor's office. I've never had to wait a long time for service. The website is truly comprehensive providing good information on all aspects of improving hearing. It is well designed and easy to understand. It is a helpful supplement to your treatment.

    I was completely satisfied with my hearing evaluation and the hearing aids ability to correct the situation. Both the office staff and doctor were friendly and professional. Any problem I had was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I felt after my hearing was evaluated that the hearing aids established the best correction possible.     I purchased my Starkey hearing aids in Naples Florida where we spend part of the year. Audiology Associates located in Naples found Ascent in a directory. With the office close to where we live, I have come in twice to purchase supplies. Service was professional, courteous, and prompt.     I have really enjoyed the new experience of hearing the music. Telephone calls have been less frustrating. The hearing aids have increased my enjoyment of life. I have been walking on trails near my house and listening more for the sounds of nature. Unfortunately the hearing aids also allowed me to hear a tree fall on our fence last week. Overall, I am still finding more things that the hearing aids have helped enhance my life.

    New Lease On Life for this 85 year old! My 85 year old Mother actually converses with folks these days now that she can hear what they are saying. She relocated from SC to VA and our first objective was to get hearing aids that actually worked. Plus, she wears them every day, all day!     (5) Hear what you're missing

    You don't know what you've been missing until you start hearing well. Maybe you can hear people talking but can't understand all that they are saying [poor comprehension]. I've been wearing hearing aids for many years but my current set just had it's 7th anniversary! So I took a one-week test drive on a pair of Starkey Xions from Ascent Audiology. After running me through a hearing test in a sound-proof booth, they programmed aids to compensate for my high-frequency loss --think women's voices. I put them to every listening test I could think of that week and they performed magnificently! No feed-back buzz. Close to 100% comprehension -- even in a lecture hall and again in a restaurant. Things I used to have to strain to hear sounded normal. Amazing. If your hearing is less than perfect, test Starkey wireless aids and you too will be able to hear what you've been missing.

    I've needed hearing aids for decades--too many rock concerts in the 1970's and other reasons. I'm still in the breaking-in process for my hearing aids, so I haven't yet experienced the full high-frequency compensation benefit.     My wife insisted I go get my hearing checked - and I'm glad I did. All of the staff at Ascent were very friendly and very helpful. I've had my new hearing aids for three months now, and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend!
